“Two family businesses in Wiltshire are in the final stages of the third annual Rural Business Awards, having made it on to the shortlists of the Best Rural Professional Services and Rural Employer of the Year categories.
Greenway Training in Lyneham, and Winsley-based Hartley Farm Shop are both in the running for the only UK-wide rural business awards scheme, which is run in partnership with the Country Land and Business Association and Amazon.
Judges felt Greenway Training was a solid business which was supporting the rural economy.
Owner Charlotte Boole said: Our main drive behind setting up Greenway Training was to improve health and safety on family run farms.
We entered the Rural Business Awards this year to recognise the amazing support we have had from our local farming community”
