Greenway Training were proud to support this year’s local Safety and Health Awareness Day at the Royal Bath & West Showground.
SHADs are half day events which include practical demonstrations covering the everyday hazards faced by farmers, farming families and workers. They provide an excellent opportunity for those working on farms get practical advice. Attendance is voluntary and free of charge.
HSE has run many SHADs over the years which have been attended by thousands of farmers throughout England, Scotland and Wales. If you are a family farmer, self employed, or employ up to four people then SHADs are designed for you. In fact, independent research shows that 99% of attendees said that they would recommend them to other farmers.
You will be in the company of other farmers and workers and there will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and share experiences in small groups. We will supply you with free information and guidance which you can take home to share with others.
Attendance at a SHAD is by invitation. If you would like express an interest in attending one of the events listed in the diary, please email Agriculture.Shads@hse.gov.uk
